About the Position
  • Develop and implement comprehensive weed control strategies to safeguard our environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management, Bush Regeneration, or Horticulture, or equivalent qualification.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence for safe transportation of equipment and materials.
  • Current ACDC Spray licence or Chemcert certification.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) for workplace safety.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Proven experience in weed identification, control strategies, and integrated management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and written skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of NSW Biosecurity Act 2015 requirements as a local control authority.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to plan, prioritize, and organize programs and schedules.
  • Proficiency in mobile applications, field-based mapping, and report generation.
  • Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices and Equality, Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles.
