About this opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to undertake maintenance and repair work on school buildings and grounds.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general grounds/building maintenance, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general trade maintenance, and understanding of machinery and equipment operation related to building maintenance.

  • Mowing the site, including playgrounds, carparks, and the front driveway and access road.
  • Whipping and edging mowed areas.
  • Hedging of school gardens, plants, and trees onsite.
  • Weeding and garden clean-ups as required.
  • Blowing of school hard surfaces, including carparks and driveways.
  • Some weed spraying during holiday periods.
  • Hosing and general cleaning of buildings and hard surfaces.

Additional duties include minor plumbing repairs, door repairs, furniture repairs, and driving school vehicles as required.

A strong communication background is desirable, but not essential. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
