Technical Lead Tailings Engineer

The ideal candidate provides strategic oversight and technical leadership for the safe, compliant, and effective operation and construction of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight across tailings engineering, construction, and surveillance activities.
  • Coordinate development and implementation of construction scopes, engineering designs, and execution plans.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure design intent is achieved.
  • Monitor TSF performance through regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and geotechnical standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Mining Engineering.
  • Experience in mining planning software.
  • Wide range of experience in technical and engineering aspects of mine design and operation.
