Staff Development Specialist

The role of the Training Officer is to assist in developing and delivering training sessions for staff.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of training needs in collaboration with management to determine requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Design, deliver and evaluate training programs aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Assess staff performance and prepare detailed reports based on these assessments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and standards related to training and professional development.
- Evaluate internal training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and administrative systems to track staff training and assessment.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Formal qualifications in Assessment and Training (e.g. Certificate IV or higher) or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
