Lycopodium Limited is seeking a skilled Track Inspector to join their Newcastle-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking track inspections, defect assessments, and certification.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure or a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure with relevant TLI units of competency. They will also possess a strong understanding of rail industry standards and the ability to work independently.

The role involves working on a rostering system, providing unbiased and independent advice to clients, and coordinating rail maintenance sites when required.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with competitive remuneration, travel, meals, and an iPad, as well as the use of a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track examination and certification
  • Rail maintenance site coordination and supervision
  • Providing unbiased and independent advice to clients

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure or Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure with relevant TLI units of competency
  • Strong understanding of rail industry standards
  • Ability to work independently
