Acclaimed Workforce is seeking a skilled Digital Printer Operator to join our team in Somerton. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality digital products to our clients.

Job Overview

  • This is a long-term contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global organization with an Australian presence.

Salary and Benefits

  • The estimated salary for this position is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • You will also be eligible for a rewarding contract hourly rate, excellent working conditions, and on-site car parking.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Set up, changeover, troubleshoot, and operate printing equipment to produce high-quality digital products.
  2. Maintain the overall maintenance of printers, including starting, stopping, and cleaning.
  3. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant print technology and equipment.
  4. Identify material with poor quality and seek assistance if needed to correct.
  5. Produce digital products to customer specifications and quality standards.
  6. Ensure computer literacy and understanding of computer print commands.
  7. Learn new designs being printed and identify defects during the printing process.
  8. Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of print production.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrate good verbal and written skills.
  2. Show self-motivation as a team player, able to work independently and in teams.
  3. Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  4. Have the ability to lift heavy rolls for the printers throughout the day (up to 68kgs).
  5. Show willingness to learn new digital equipment and be cross-trained in other areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary School certificate or higher.
  • 1-4 years of work experience in a manufacturing or textile print environment.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to ensure production levels are met.
