Expert Dementia Care Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
  • Equip carers and clinicians with knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to behaviour changes through modelling, coaching, and resource development, including behaviour support planning.
  • Develop contextualised reports that drive change and improve quality of life for people living with dementia.
  • Conduct holistic assessments to understand individual experiences and care networks.
  • Partner with experts across the aged care sector to build capability and effect positive change.
Key Requirements:
  • Expertise in supporting people living with dementia, with a strong understanding of Australian residential aged care and community aged care settings.
  • High level of negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills to share knowledge and support change at all levels.
