The Senior Safety Adviser Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Safety Adviser to join our team at KBR. As a Senior Safety Adviser, you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive environment where safety is paramount. Our goal is to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and stakeholders while ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Safety Adviser, you will be responsible for leading safety governance and assurance programs on behalf of KBR and SA Water. You will work closely with construction partners, vendors, regulators, and SA Water to drive beneficial outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Advocate for and uphold the highest level of safety across multiple concurrent infrastructure, maintenance, and construction projects.
  2. Lead safety governance and assurance programs on behalf of KBR & SA Water.
  3. Manage incidents and prevent them from occurring across live sites, corporate offices, 3rd-party areas, and subcontractor environments.
  4. Develop and deliver safety training programs, workshops, and toolbox talks.
  5. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
