State Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and energetic State Manager to join our QLD team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will work closely with Senior Leaders to drive sales, profit, operational performance, and team leadership development goals in line with our values.

  • This includes leading by example, embodying our company culture and driving a people-first approach that values professional development, collaboration, transparency, and open communication.
  • You will lead, coach, and support a team of Area & Cluster Managers to deliver key responsibilities within people, performance, planning, and operational brand goals.
  • Additionally, you will train, coach, and mentor your team to work towards performance goals and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain an environment where employees consistently provide a world-class customer experience.
  2. Analyze sales reporting and take action to benefit performance and impact for the state through commercial opportunities.
  3. Ensure efficient operation of your state to achieve optimal results.
  4. Implement Visual Merchandising (VM) strategies in collaboration with your Visual Merchandising Team.
  5. Ensure efficient store operations to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  6. Develop proactive internal and external recruitment strategies, including development plans to support individual progression.
  7. Implement succession planning and talent mapping to develop a strong and diverse talent pool to support upcoming roles within your state.
