Accounts Assistant Role

Job Description:

  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain the accuracy of financial data by ensuring timely and regular reconciliations.
  • Provide assistance with cash flow management and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Accountant/Financial Controller in administrative tasks and other ad-hoc duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge or experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong Excel skills, with ability to learn pivot tables and VLookups.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in interacting with colleagues and clients.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
  • University/Tafe qualifications ideal but not essential.
