Home Care Support Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our Home Community Care Services Team.

Your primary role will be to provide essential services to clients, maintaining and enhancing their homes, standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a caring nature towards people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance client homes, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide support with daily tasks, promoting independence and dignity for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to follow task lists and perform home care tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Capacity to show empathy and understanding when working with clients.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
