We are seeking a skilled Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at UGL Utilities division. Located in the Hunter Valley region, this role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real impact in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity will see you working on a Power Station project that aims to generate approximately 660 megawatts of electricity. As a key member of our Health, Safety & Environmental Management team, you will play a vital role in implementing and maintaining our health, safety, and environmental management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake all responsibilities in a safe manner: You will ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with our health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in site HSE meetings: You will contribute to our regular health, safety, and environmental meetings to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment: You will wear the necessary personal protective equipment to prevent injury and illness.
  • Comply and have input into safe working procedures: You will work closely with our operations team to develop and implement safe working procedures.
