Emergency Care Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our dynamic team delivering exceptional emergency care in Port Pirie.

  • Provide person-centred nursing and case management in a fast-paced environment, promoting high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Lead the delivery of care within the Emergency Department team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including doctors, allied health professionals, and external partners, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to clinical education, auditing, and research, driving a learning culture that supports staff growth and development.
  • Develop and implement change management initiatives, ensuring effective service delivery and quality improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience, preferably in Emergency Nursing.
  • A passion for mentoring and supporting less experienced staff, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent outcomes.

Our healthcare facility is a 52-bed acute facility offering a range of medical services, including Emergency, Peri-operative, Renal Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Birthing, Outpatient Services, Acute Medical, and Acute Surgical Services. We have a co-located Residential Aged Care Facility, providing comprehensive care to our community.
