About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in clinical leadership, education, and quality improvement. You will work closely with a strong senior nurse education team and a collaborative workplace culture to foster clinical excellence, research, and professional leadership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership to facilitate evidence-based practice in the Emergency Department.
  • Develop and implement clinical practice standards and evaluate their outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and consumer groups to ensure effective management of care in the given specialty.

Requirements
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and at least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in the specialty field.
  • Postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field are required.
  • Desirable skills include strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
