Highly Strategic Technologist

We are seeking a senior technologist to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative payment solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will shape the target state architecture for our platform and spearhead transformative projects across card issuing, acquiring, switching, and merchant services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the target state architecture and roadmaps for our platform ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  • Lead solution design across card schemes, real-time payments, e-commerce, and omni-channel digital experiences.
  • Architect solutions using event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud-native technologies (Azure/AWS).
  • Integrate with major schemes and gateways (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Cybersource, MPGS).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, EMV) and scheme certifications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, influence strategic decisions, and mentor junior architects.

Requirements:

  • You must have 10+ years in solution architecture within payments and banking domains.
  • Proven experience with our platform or similar switching platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of card scheme operations, tokenization, 3D Secure, contactless payments, and digital wallets.
  • Expertise in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, and SWIFT messaging protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization, and integration technologies (Web Services, MQ).
  • Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and e-commerce gateways (e.g., Cybersource, MPGS).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in solutioning across issuing and acquiring landscapes.
