We are seeking a skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team and drive business growth.
- This is a key role within the company, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and executive leadership team to inform strategic decisions.
The Commercial Analyst will develop comprehensive strategies to improve retail operations in collaboration with sales & marketing teams and department heads. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing business cases for new product development and launches in collaboration with marketing.
- Supporting new sales channels with financial modelling to determine performance and success.
- Reviewing past performance and trends to evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies.
- Providing monthly commentary on the drivers behind changes in financial performance.
- Assisting with product costing and identifying cost-effective methods for delivering products from manufacturers to consumers.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of a robust Business Intelligence (BI) platform and increasing the use of visual dashboard reporting.
Directly supporting the CFO and CEO in crafting future strategy for the market.
Requirements for the Commercial Analyst role include:
- Strong experience in retail operations and commercial analysis.
- CA, CPA, or CIMA qualification with relevant commercial analysis experience.
- Experience building strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
- Prior experience with business intelligence tools and visual dashboards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
- Outstanding technology skills, including Excel as a second language and expertise in data warehouses.
