We're a climate tech innovator repairing our planet through infinite recycling. We're taking the 10 billion tonnes of plastics and têxtiles wasting away in landfill and our environment, and recycling it, infinitely to create a truly circular loop for packaging, clothing, airbags and everything in between.

It means brands can make the products we all know and love without the environmental damage. Because by using what we already have, we can end the world's reliance on dirty fossil fuels to slow climate change and ensure we have a liveable planet for future generations.

**The role...**

We are looking for a dynamic Strategy Consultant for a fixed term 8mth parental leave contract to support Samsara's strategic needs, including Spinout Opportunities for our AI-Driven Protein Design Platform. This role covers support of our core business strategy for the CEO and support for our new spinout opportunities beyond plastic recycling, leveraging our cutting-edge AI-driven protein design platform.

This role is designed to balance strategic thinking with hands-on business development, driving both high-level analysis and practical market engagement. Your work will guide critical decisions on entering new markets, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalise on emerging trends and innovations.

**You will...**

**Series B preparation**:

- Support Samsara's CEO in preparing for the next fundraising round by aligning strategic priorities across Finance, Commercial, Technology, and Science teams.
- Lead efforts to define the company's trajectory over the next 6-12 months and develop a compelling vision for its long-term growth (2-5 years).
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to develop financial models, forecasts, and a data-driven investment thesis.
- Manage external consultants to refine the company's go-to-market strategy, optimising the business model and value generation potential.
- Ensure the preparation of high-quality pitch decks, supporting materials, and narratives that align with investor expectations.
- Support Samsara's CEO on ad hoc requests to guide discussions with investors.

**Samsara's 1**st** Spinout Proof of Concept**:

- Provide operational, commercial and strategic support to the CEO of Samsara's first spinout to tackle a new climate challenge beyond plastic recycling.
- Coordinate efforts with international science partners to develop and demonstrate a proof of concept of the technology to raise seed funding.
- Support the spinout CEO in the establishment of commercial partnerships.
- Drive communication between Samsara, the spinout and its pre-seed investors to ensure alignment on progress, milestones and funding requirements.

**New spinout establishment**:

- Collaborate with Samsara's CEO, investor team and Science partners to evaluate and scope the next spinout opportunity.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, techno-economics projections to determine the opportunity landscape.
- Build relationships with potential science and industrial partners and advisors for the future spinout.
- Lead the spinout to pre-seed funding.

**Qualifications and Experience...**
- Proven experience in strategy and business development, preferably in consulting, with a track record of delivering impactful outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.
- Track record of developing strategic partnerships.
- Background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Bioengineering is a plus.
