About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our gardens and outdoor spaces.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and a passion for gardening and landscaping. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and look their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and watering to maintain the health and appearance of our gardens and outdoor spaces.
  • Maintain turf areas by mowing lawns, trimming edges, and caring for turf.
  • Prepare soil and plant beds for new plantings and maintenance.
  • Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

About You
  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License and White Card are required.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
