Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the execution of the Maintenance Optimisation plan, ensuring the efficient maintenance of our fleet.
- Support and execute the yearly Engineering Strategy and Business Strategy, aligning with company goals.
- Develop and implement systems for recording, analysing, reporting, and investigating performance data, driving continuous improvement.
- Apply engineering principles to investigate rolling stock fault trends and establish their root cause, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Write Technical Procedures for the operations teams, ensuring clear guidance and best practices.
- Undertake engineering-based risk assessments for the project team, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Provide engineering support activities as required, contributing to the success of the team.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- A positive attitude and a team player, willing to assist and collaborate with colleagues.
- IT savvy with demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products, proficient in software applications.
- Significant experience within maintenance engineering, ideally within Rail or a similar heavy industry, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, with a solid foundation in electrical principles and practices.
