Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved.
About This Role:
- Our team is seeking an experienced professional to own the end-to-end debtor's ledger process, including cash receipting, allocation of payments and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Liaise with internal and external customers regarding account queries and maintain accurate records.
- Process miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals, as well as create new debtor master files.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a high-volume retail environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel e.g. Vlookup and Pivot Tables.
- Strong numerical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
- Proven initiative and proactive skills.
