About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team in a Supervisory role. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a diverse ledger of customers and achieving individual targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full function credit control including sending reminders to clients and processing late payments.
- Responsibility for a mixed ledger of clients including major and smaller accounts.
- Daily banking and allocations as well as accurate reconciliation of client accounts.
- Monthly reconciliations and year-end closing procedures.
- Inbound queries from clients requiring prompt resolution.
- Customer refunds processed efficiently with minimal disruption.
- Managing internal and external collection processes partnering with third-party agencies.
- Leading a team and dealing with escalations ensuring seamless operations.
- Offering support and guidance to junior members reinforcing positive work culture.
- Ad hoc duties as requested.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable with a proven track record of success.
- Leadership experience required to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills essential for effective client interaction.
- Attention to detail necessary for accurate accounting and financial management.
- Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills required for this role.
- A customer-focused approach with a deep understanding of commercial practices.
- Technical skills including proficiency in relevant software systems.
