About our Lifestyle Support Worker role

Lifestyle support workers are in high demand and play a vital part in helping individuals build confidence and improve their mental wellbeing.

They work closely with recipients, providing individualised support to help them live as independently as possible.

The role involves supporting recipients to access the community, engage in activities that promote their goals, and providing transport to and from activities.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Computer literacy and accuracy in record management
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to problem solve and follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and individuals

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A current P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
  • A currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive vehicle
  • Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • The NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You"
