Customer Banking Specialist Relief Role

As a key member of our Retail Banking Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences to our personal and small business customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their banking needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Travel to surrounding branches to support customer needs and provide in-branch support.
  • Process customer applications for credit products and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct financial health checks to assess customer financial needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide education and demonstrations of our in-branch technology and digital banking options to customers.
  • Problem-solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a financial services, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial terms in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity while placing the customer at the centre of everything you do.
  • Ability to work in a busy, commercial, and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers and providing holistic solutions.
  • Genuine interest in building a career with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and improving the financial wellbeing and lives of our customers.
