Customer Banking Specialist Relief Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Banking Specialist Relief in Darwin. As a key member of our Retail Banking Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth conversations with customers to understand their banking needs and preferences.
  • Travel to surrounding branches to support customers and provide financial solutions.
  • Support customers with account maintenance, credit product applications, and financial health checks.
  • Offer education and demonstrations of our in-branch technology and digital banking options.
  • Problem-solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a financial services, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial terms clearly.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, and act with integrity.
  • Capacity to work in a busy, commercial, and driven retail environment.
  • Genuine interest in building a career with Commonwealth Bank and improving the financial wellbeing of our customers.
