About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our therapeutic residential programs for children and young people with complex trauma.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our programs, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement a therapeutic framework by overseeing best practice implementation of individualised care plans, and fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Develop and manage program rosters to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to care teams, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, adhering to regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Manage program finances and administration, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • A degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is essential. Alternatively, a Cert IV qualification in Youth Work, Social Science, or Counselling is also acceptable.
  • Proven experience in residential OOHC, with strong understanding of practice, legislation, and staff support.
  • Demonstrated expertise in case planning, safety planning, and behaviour support.
  • Experience working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is highly valued.
  • A valid HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Certificate or equivalent is required.
  • A current Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willingness to attain) is necessary.
  • Experience working with young people with complex trauma is crucial.
  • A valid LCS2 Check and Police Check from the last 12 months is mandatory.
