Therapeutic Residential Care Specialist

This is a permanent full-time role that involves Monday to Friday hours with some weekend on-call management work required.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a small number of therapeutic residential OOHC programs in the Ipswich Region, including safety planning, crisis response, and person-centred strategies.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with relevant managerial experience in residential OOHC, who has a strong understanding of practice, legislative/regulatory, and staff support requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification (Social Work, Psychology etc) or a minimum Cert IV qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g Youth Work, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling).
They will also have demonstrated experience in working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities.
A current HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Certificate or equivalent is essential as well as a valid Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willingness to attain).
We encourage applicants to apply who have experience in working with young people with complex trauma and have a valid LCS2 Check and Police Check from the last 12 months.
