Associate Director, Structured Capital Markets

Role Overview

The Structured Capital Markets business is responsible for originating, structuring and supporting the distribution of securitisation transactions for institutional and corporate clients.

  • Support the origination and execution of warehouse and term ABS transactions for clients in Australia, covering asset classes such as residential mortgages, auto and equipment, and trade receivables.
  • Collaborate with risk and front office teams to maintain and monitor securitisation facilities, ensuring compliance with facility terms, conditions and credit approvals.
  • Develop an understanding of quantitative analysis (collateral pools & cash flow modelling) to ensure existing and new transactions are modelled in accordance with facility terms and rating agency criteria.
  • Evaluate transaction risks and establish mitigants in accordance with Securitisation Policies and Procedures.
  • Prepare credit submissions for securitisation facilities (including warehouse funding facilities, derivatives and other supporting facilities) in a timely manner, consulting stakeholders through the submission process.
  • Work collaboratively with the SCM FO Support team to ensure all client activity is understood and monitored appropriately.
  • Assist with securitisation capital market activities, including coordinating marketing materials, collaborating with Syndicate & Sales, responding to investor Q&A on deal structures during the distribution phase, creating tailored pitch books for current and prospective issuers, and strengthening client relationships, including all facets of their securitisation funding requirements.
