Job Opportunity in Equity Capital Markets

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Group is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their team in Sydney.

This role involves working on complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today.

The ECM Group works closely with public and private companies, financial sponsors, venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs to originate, structure, and execute equity financings such as initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and block trades.

  • You will help originate, lead and execute equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
  • You will develop content for meetings with clients regarding their strategy and potential capital market transactions, as well as regular market updates.
  • You will liaise with multiple internal and external parties to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
  • You will assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlement/operational flow.
  • You will complete and review analytical work of junior team members, and provide mentorship and oversight to the junior team.
  • You will think creatively to perform investor targeting of potential institutional buyers, analyzing comparable companies and institutional cross ownership.
