Job Description

As an Analyst within the team, you will be responsible for working alongside and supporting senior members to advise, market, and execute transactions for Australian corporations, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the origination and execution of domestic and international debt capital markets transactions.
  2. Support client pitching and negotiations by preparing clear and succinct marketing materials, including market updates, pitch materials, pricing information, and case studies.
  3. Contribute to trade ideas and client recommendations, analyzing debt market funding options and execution considerations across various markets.
  4. Support transaction execution, including drafting marketing materials, offering documentation, and conducting relative value analysis.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of trends in local and international leveraged finance and debt capital markets, communicating updates to stakeholders.
  6. Build relationships with clients at junior levels and liaise with internal and external parties involved in transactions, such as sector investment bankers, debt syndicates, lawyers, compliance, accountants, and other banks.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Prior experience in debt capital markets, leveraged finance, banking front office, or related roles.
  • Understanding of the transaction cycle and international capital markets with an execution-oriented approach.
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
  • Academic background from a top-tier institution.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker.
