Job Opportunity: We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as DIDO Utility/Cleaners from Rockhampton region and nearby suburbs on a 2/1 roster.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. This includes performing a variety of tasks, such as housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning, and tavern operations.

  • Performing tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of responsibility.
  • Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • A valid police check issued within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one.
  • A Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
  • A Standard 11 surface mining induction or willingness to obtain.
  • A Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required.
  • Driver's License/Photo ID required.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from site.
  • First Aide Certificate (desired).
  • RSA Certificate (desired).
  • Forklift License (desired).
  • Demonstrating a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
