About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and proactive individual to join our team as a Utility Cleaner in Rockhampton and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a remote setting and takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment.

As a Utility Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning, and tavern operations.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (desired).
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • A valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
  • A Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
  • A Standard 11 surface mining induction or willingness to obtain.
  • A Safe Food Handling Certificate.
  • A Driver's License/ Photo ID.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from site.
  • A First Aide Certificate (desired).
  • An RSA Certificate (desired).
  • A Forklift License (desired).
