Job Overview

Mine Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a Mine Planning Engineer to contribute to our underground technical services team.

This is a permanent, site-based role on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, reporting to a Senior Mine Planning Engineer.

  • Deliver short- and medium-term mine plans aligned to production targets.
  • Complete stope designs, development layouts, and project planning activities.
  • Generate mine plan approvals, stope notes, and support LOM planning.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Production Engineering; planning exposure desirable.
  • Proficiency in Deswik mine design software and Ventsim.
  • Familiarity with Australian mining safety regulations and standards.

Key skills include strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with a passion for underground mining and teamwork.
