Overview
Our client is seeking an
Underground Service Locator
to work on local underground service locating projects, with opportunities to work on projects around the country. The role involves locating services such as power, communications, water, gas, sewer, drainage, and underground storage tanks, while adhering to OH&S and quality policy guidelines. The position may involve coordinating small to medium-sized projects and collaborating with a national surveying team.
Responsibilities
Locate and identify underground services (power, communications, water, gas, sewer, drainage) and underground storage tanks.
Work independently on local projects and contribute to national projects as needed.
Manage small to medium-sized projects within company OH&S and quality guidelines.
Coordinate with the national surveying team when required.
Skills & Experience
Proven underground service locating experience.
Construction white card.
Driver's license.
Before You Dig Certified Locator (preferred).
Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and legislation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
