Underground Mechanical Development Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced mechanical development service technician to provide expert technical support for underground mining equipment.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and super for a 38-hour week. The role involves providing proactive advice and support to customers, facilitating seamless start-up of development machines, and collaborating with engineering teams to commission equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced technical support for underground equipment in the field.
  • Compile field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Mechanical trade qualification and relevant experience working underground with development mining equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
