Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds.
  • Assisting with various tax matters, including Goods and Services Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, and Division 7.
  • Tax planning and addressing key tax issues.
  • Maintaining clients' asset registers, adjusting journals, and reconciliations.
  • Working with large corporations, small to medium-sized enterprises, and large family groups.
  • Managing a team of junior accountants.
  • Liaising extensively with clients and external agencies.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A strong desire to complete their Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification.
  • Over one year of experience in local business services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
