
Financial Asset Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide critical support to the finance team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the organisation's fixed assets.
This includes maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, performing monthly reconciliations across the organisation, ensuring accurate accounting of leases in accordance with AASB 16 within the SAP environment, reviewing Assets Under Construction projects, and preparing accruals and managing the capitalisation process in SAP.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, including AASB standards
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reports and analysis
- Developing and implementing effective processes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fixed asset management
- Providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on fixed asset-related matters
For this role, you will require strong technical skills in fixed asset accounting, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit finance team will be highly valued.
