Multi-Trade Operative Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Operative to join our team. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance department, you will be responsible for carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties on occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repair and maintenance work in line with contract specifications.
  • Install new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors, and fencing.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocked when needed.
  • Respond positively to customer complaints and breakdowns in service delivery.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical) or undertaking qualification.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
  • Skills in carpentry, plumbing, decorating.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and plan ahead.
