Structural Engineering Leadership Opportunity

This award-winning consultancy seeks an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to lead their Melbourne office in delivering high-profile projects. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, the company works on innovative building projects, ranging from small scale buildings to large commercial and industrial developments.

  • Technical management of projects
  • Leadership and mentorship of a team of engineers and modellers
  • Preparation and submission of project tenders
  • Project budget management
Requirements

A recognised degree in engineering, CPEng and PE (Vic) qualifications are required. The ideal candidate will have circa 12+ years of experience working in a consulting environment, with extensive experience in the design and analysis of medium to large scale commercial, residential, institutional and industrial buildings.

  • A sound knowledge of Australian Building Standards and Codes
  • Proven people management skills
  • Previous experience in key client management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
