Job Role

We are seeking a senior lawyer to join our Disputes practice in Sydney on a full-time basis.

About the Position

This role will provide an opportunity to deepen your litigation and disputes experience on some of the country's largest class actions and product liability cases.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Court Correspondence and Advice: Drafting correspondence and preparing advice.
  • Day-to-Day Management: Day-to-day management of files.
  • Liaising with Clients and Counsel: Liaising with clients and counsel.
  • Preparation of Court Proceedings: Assisting with the preparation of final and interlocutory proceedings including evidence.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-6 years' experience as a lawyer in a leading commercial litigation practice;
  • Exposure to class actions or large-scale commercial litigation matters;
  • Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation;
  • Strong Academic Results: Strong academic results;
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Collaborative Approach: A collaborative and pro-active approach.
