Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Protection Specialist to join our team.

The role involves working sensitively and respectfully with vulnerable children, young people, and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and community partners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess safety and well-being concerns, and develop plans to address these issues.
  • Work with high needs and high-risk clients and their families, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Participate in court processes, including the preparation of documents and attending hearings.
  • Develop strong relationships with parents, family members, and community leaders.

In this role, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's licence and paid working with children clearance number are essential requirements for this role.
  • You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
