Join our apprenticeship program as an Electrician and gain hands-on experience working on community infrastructure projects.

This full-time, four-year opportunity offers paid study time to complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician at a local TAFE.

You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople on real projects that make a difference in the community.

  • Electrical infrastructure construction
  • Three-phase motors and control switchboard installations
  • Industrial wiring for water and sewer processing plants
  • Maintenance of high voltage water supply pumping stations
  • Community assets including airports, sporting fields, event centers, pools, buildings, waste management and emergency services facilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment to a high standard

As a key member of our team, you'll develop practical skills and valuable exposure to other trades across mechanical, instrumentation, data communications and automation systems.

We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn on the job, ask questions, and maintain and improve community facilities.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to working safely for yourself and others
  • Able to commit to study requirements and complete training in a timely and organized way
  • Hold a current driver's license
  • Comply with uniform and PPE requirements

Remuneration details include:

  • Employment type: Full-time, four-year apprenticeship with paid study time (38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight)
  • Salary: Starting from $808.30 to $974.50 per week depending on school level obtained and experience
  • Allowances: Adverse Working Level 1, Tool Allowance & Sewer Choke Allowance
