Trainee Role - Transport Network Development
Job Description:As a trainee in our transport network development team, you will gain practical experience working on projects that connect communities and build a better future. You will make a tangible impact on the people of NSW, using your skills to help build a sustainable and thriving transport network for generations to come.
Our traineeship programs provide hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification, all while getting paid. You will have the opportunity to develop key workplace skills including effective communication, teamwork, and problem solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
- You have completed Year 12 or hold a Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
- You are ready to commence full-time employment
- You have reliable transport to travel to the office or depot
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You are willing to learn and can manage your time and priorities effectively
- You have demonstrated familiarity using corporate computing systems and applications or the ability to learn new systems with ease
- You demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach in all you do
- You take pride in consistently delivering your best across school, work, and personal life
- You proactively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- 2 year fixed-term, full-time Traineeship
- Certificate IV qualification through structured RTO learning
- Practical, on-the-job experience to apply what you learn
- Development of key workplace skills including effective communication, teamwork, and problem solving
- Clear career pathways and professional growth opportunities
- Work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to a variety of tasks and situations
Rates of pay are dependent on the year you completed year 12 (or the equivalent), please see below for details:
Year 12 school leaver (or equivalent) - $ super per week
+ 1 year out of school leaver (or equivalent)- $ super per week
+ 2 years school leaver (or equivalent) -$ super per week
+ 3 years or more school leaver (or equivalent) or before - $ super
