Job Opportunity: Service Operations Leader

About the Role

This is a challenging and dynamic leadership position within our service structure, overseeing a comprehensive outpatient operation.

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centric services across MLSAI and Monash Health.
Key Responsibilities

The primary objective is to drive improvements in service delivery, administration, and the patient experience.

  • Develop strategic plans to optimise administration and enhance patient satisfaction; implement new processes and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and allocate responsibilities to staff members; manage office space and rostering effectively.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with OH&S policies, budget outcomes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and streamline administrative procedures and systems for efficient workflows.
  • Engage stakeholders in adopting new processes; lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Support staff development through targeted training and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain proficiency with MLSAI and hospital databases for reporting and decision-making purposes.
