Our team at SA Health is seeking a skilled Principal Project Officer to join our Community Resilience unit. This exciting opportunity involves leading the consultation, planning and development of strategic and operational plans to respond to incidents affecting the community in areas of community capacity, social engagement and mental wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand different perspectives of South Australian communities and the mental wellbeing impacts on affected populations.
  • Analyse data, provide advice, write high-level documents, and negotiate complex issues.
  • Focus on progressing current mental wellbeing initiatives in response to drought and algal bloom, and then utilise these learnings in the development of a safeguarding framework which outlines Preventive Health SA responsibilities and action to prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.
Requirements:
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
