Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Iluka Early Learning Bondi Beach.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the educational program for children from Birth to Preschool age.

You will instill a love of learning and guide our children on their path of exploration, investigation, and discovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and community members.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Guide and support educators to implement the program and philosophy for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Teaching/Education degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an ECT (experience working as educational lead advantageous).
  • A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
