Early Learning Educator Role

This is a permanent position for an experienced and caring educator to provide quality education and care to children, supporting their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and EYLF.

Key aspects of this role include contributing to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework, developing positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and community, and facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.

  • Program Development:
    • Develop curricula that align with the approved learning framework.
    • Implement educational programs that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Establish strong relationships with children, families, and the broader community.
    • Maintain open communication channels to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Learning Environments:
    • Design and implement engaging and interactive learning spaces.
    • Utilize resources effectively to support children's exploration and discovery.
  • Documentation:
    • Record observations and assessments accurately against learning outcomes.
    • Analyze data to inform future program development and improvement.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma qualification in early childhood education and have prior experience working at a Diploma level in an early learning service. A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
