Job Description

Job Title: Process Improvement Specialist

Job Summary:

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to review and analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and test new processes to support business objectives, with a focus on relationship-centered care.
  • Apply lean process mapping techniques to identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality, and enhance overall operational performance.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the implementation of new business processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and document best practices that can be replicated across the organization.
  • Develop and update process flow/mapping documentation.
  • Assess the impact of change to business processes and requirements.
  • Travel to sites across Sydney Metro, Regional NSW, and S/E QLD.

Requirements:

  • Completion of tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in project improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Agile.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a project management role, preferably in a complex Change and Continuous Improvement environment.
  • Experience in the aged care or health-related field is desirable.
  • Ability to travel as required within the role.
  • Advanced people consultation and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A progressive and pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
  • Capacity to listen to people and synthesize information.
  • Strong facilitation and workshop skills, with the ability to give feedback.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
