Are you prepared to make a significant difference by assisting families during one of life's most difficult transitions? We are looking for an Estate Administration Specialist at Equity Trustees. In this crucial position, you will report to the Regional Manager and oversee comprehensive estate management services while handling a varied portfolio of deceased estates. Your knowledge will ensure adherence to all pertinent legislative and regulatory standards while nurturing strong, compassionate relationships with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of estates available for distribution.
  • Communicating and coordinating with estate beneficiaries and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the probate process and estate distribution align with the will and comply with relevant state legislation.
  • Collaborating with other members of the estate administration team and administrative support staff.
  • Contributing to the evaluation of standard estate letters, processes, and procedures, and actively participating in the finalization of necessary documents.
  • Monitoring the accuracy of account transactions and ensuring timely processing of estate administrative tasks.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial services with a solid background in relationship management.
  • Expertise in law, accounting, paralegal work, financial planning, or paraplanning is highly valued.
  • Experience in navigating highly regulated environments.
  • Strong empathy, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity will be greatly appreciated.
  • A tertiary qualification in finance, law, or a related discipline is preferred.
