As a Train Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and reliable journeys for millions of passengers across the region.

The position involves operating trains safely and efficiently, managing various work scenarios with ongoing mentoring and support from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop all the skills necessary to become a qualified Train Driver through a mix of on-the-job and classroom training.
  • Operate trains in accordance with safety protocols and regulations, adhering to industry standards.
  • Participate in on-the-job and classroom/train simulation training with mentoring from a Driver Trainer and experienced colleagues.
  • Work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.
Requirements:
  • Be prepared to commit to a demanding training schedule including assessments and extra home study.
  • Be able to adapt to different work scenarios, work independently or as part of a team, and stay resilient, dependable, and organized.
  • Be legally eligible to work and participate in the Trainee Train Driver program.
