Hotel Night Operations Manager

Nestled in Melbourne's vibrant CBD, a new hotel destination is emerging. Our boutique hotel offers a unique blend of hospitality experiences across 452 rooms.

The Hotel Night Operations Manager will oversee overnight operations, ensuring a safe and smoothly run environment. Key responsibilities include managing guest experiences, overseeing team performance, and completing the night audit.

  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensuring exceptional service delivery from the front office team
  • Greeting guests upon arrival and engaging with them to build relationships
  • Conducting routine inspections of the hotel grounds and addressing deficiencies
  • Providing cross-functional support to other departments
  • Training colleagues to ensure they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties
  • Managing and overseeing all hotel operations during overnight shifts

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Three years of guest service/hotel experience, including at least one year in a management capacity
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
  • Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities
  • Current certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol, First Aid & CPR
  • The ability to work shifts from 11pm-7am, including weekends and holidays
